Glycoproteins are involved in various significant biological processes and have critical functions physiology pathology by regulating activities molecular signaling pathways. The variety of enzymes used protein glycosylation the wide range diversity resulting glycoproteins pose a challenging task when attempting to simulate these silico. This study aimed establish define necessary structures process N-glycosylation In this article, we represent Golgi structure an agent-based model with defined movement patterns reaction rules between associated proteins acting as agents. is converted into grid consisting 150 × 400 patches representing four compartments which contain specific distribution fundamental contributing glycosylation. interacting membrane-bound perceived agents, their own for movement, complex formation, biochemical dissociation. were saved XML-format, mass spectrometry file GlycoWorkbench2-compatible visualization.
